The solution to the 'revive problems' is to swap out your nanite injector for something that might actually help your team. |

Pish posh, you can fit uplinks rep tool and injector just fine on a minnie logi ;) Yes, but why would you want to fit an injector when it reduces the effectiveness of your team?
I can't remember the last time I was revived and didn't die immediately. If it's a close match the lethal injection can be what loses the game. Blues get demoralized by the cheap deaths and are afraid to go anywhere that has other blues, such as objectives.
If you want to troll stick to spamming hives around supply depots, at least that ruins the game for the other team as well. |

If you want to troll stick to spamming hives around supply depots, at least that ruins the game for the other team as well. You must have met some ****** logis my friend. My needle keeps the squad up and running. Only idiots and trolls revive while things are dangerous. Sure I've made some bad calls but nothing can be 100%. Edit. Only a termination counts towards clones, all a revive does is add to your deaths should you go down. So that argument is invalid. Rightly or wrongly, people do care about deaths even if it doesn't cost a clone. If you really do check that the area is clear before a revive, I guess that's something, but unless you've done a 360 with a proto scanner I'd still prefer that you didn't pick me up, to be honest. It very rarely actually saves a clone (I've had at least a dozen deaths-by-revive since the last clone-saved-by-revive) and lowers morale for your team.
When you're going HAM, taking risks to take points, 20+kills with no one else on my team in double figures, and some selfish **** picks you up three times in the line of fire, do you think that's going to motivate you to (1) keep pushing to get a win for that delightful scamp and his needle of death or (2) play it safe from range with a RR and let that blueberry have the loss he deserves? |

Wow, we're sorry you got picked up by a random WP-*****. There is no need to put all people that revive on the same side. Just hop in a HAV and stop whining. PS: There is a thread about this in the bug-section for some time, which get ignored by CCP again. I'm not putting every needle user in the same boat. I have very occasionally been in a squad with a genuine medic who scans before he revives. But I'm just saying that that is not the normal situation with needle users. It's a small minority, maybe only 10%, that are supporting the team rather than WP farming.
As well as the bug report there's also an interesting post in the feedback/suggestions section about recording deaths ONLY when the clone is lost. I think this would be a really simple but effective fix that would deal with the problem without making a support logi's job any harder. |
